The University of Delaware has a rich tradition of study abroad and we recently celebrated 100 years of learning as the oldest program in the country! While many students consider study abroad to be a time to engage courses, internships, and research, did you know as a Pre-Health student that you can gain clinical experience through shadowing and also discover global medicine through our own Winter abroad program? For those Pre-Health students utilizing the Health Professions Evaluation Committee (HPEC) in the future, hours spent in hospitals through this program can count toward your minimum 50 shadowing hours needed to pursue the committee letter process!
