Dr. Pinar Kullu
Postdoctoral Researcher
Pinar is a Postdoctoral Researcher associated with AICoE. She is affiliated with the Department of Computer Engineering at Ankara University, Turkey. Her research interests include NoCs and machine learning applications.
Dr. Elham Bakhshipour
Postdoctoral Researcher
Elham is an Occupational Therapist, and a PhD in biomechanics and movement sciences. She is also affiliated with the department of kinesiology and applied physiology at the UD.
Her research includes utilizing neuro-imaging techniques to discover subtle differences in motor and cognitive abilities in neuro-diversities, neurodegenerative diseases and neuropsychiatric disorders.
Her broader passion is: To enhance the quality of life of people with diverse cognitive and emotional needs using various modalities and techniques.

Vuthea was as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Delaware. His research is focused on medical training with virtual reality, with specific focus on team collaboration.
Dr. Kangsoo Kim
Research Scientist
Kangsoo is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Software Engineering, Schulich School of Engineering, at the University of Calgary (UofC). Before joining the UofC, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the HCI Lab (University of Delaware) and the Synthetic Reality Lab (SREAL), Institute for Simulation and Training with an appointment in the College of Nursing (University of Central Florida). His research interests include pervasive XR (VR/AR/MR), virtual avatars and agents, social interaction in XR, and enhanced perception and cognition in XR.
Dr. Yan-Ming (Steve) Chiou

Yan-Ming (Steve) is a PhD graduate from in the Department of computer and information sciences at the University of Delaware. His research interests are social mixed reality, and social robot for cyber-security education. He is now working as a research scientist.

PhD Student
Kyle is a PhD student in the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Delaware who is interested in how virtual/augmented/mixed reality better shape the world in the healthcare industry. Kyle is currently working on building gamified VR applications to provide assessments of patients’ progress during virtual therapy.

Qinqi was an undergraduate student at the University of Delaware, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. She is now in graduate school pursuing a master’s degree in data science at Columbia University.

Vincent was an undergraduate honors student at the University of Delaware, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in writing. His interests range over many areas of computer science, including algorithmic analysis, software engineering, operating systems, and many more. He is now a PhD candidate at Ohio State University.

His research interests are augmented and virtual reality, computer vision, 360 photo/video analysis, and entrepreneurship. He now works as the VP of Engineering at Innovative Precision Health.

Alina is a Master student in computer science at the University of Delaware who is interested in human-computer interaction, game development, and virtual/augmented reality. She now works as a technical game designer.

She also has a minor in Africana Studies and was on the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team. She now works as a web administrator.
