I’m submitting my second reflection for IGS, and wanted to talk about the side trip I took with my peers to Barcelona! It’s amazing to think that while we were away in Europe visiting places like Germany and Switzerland, we also had the opportunity to travel to other countries that weren’t originally listed on our itinerary. Almost the entire study abroad program came together to plan a side trip to Barcelona, which ended up being one of the highlights of my entire time overseas. It was sunny, warm, and there was such great food! The atmosphere was completely different in Barcelona compared to Germany, and I’m so fortunate to have been able to visit Spain with such great people surrounding me.
