Fabio Addona
Postdoctoral Researcher
Fabio is carrying out experimental research on air-water interaction using laboratory techniques for flow measurements and surface detection in the presence of wind and mechanically generated waves. His current activities include studying the inception of turbulence and of the coherent structures on both sides of the air-water interface, and the influence of shoaling waves on sea surface roughness. Broadly, his research interests include fundamental fluid mechanics involving water waves, air-sea interaction and density-driven flows.

Morgan Sommers
M.S. Student
Morgan is studying air-sea gas fluxes in shallow water. She’s particularly interested in coral reef environments. She performed field experiments on the reef in Kane’ohe Bay in Hawaii during the summer of 2022.
