NMR Facility: Open House
Friday, January 22, 2016
2:00 to 3:30 PM
Location: 219 Brown Laboratory/NMR Laboratory
The UD nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) facility located in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry serves a large cadre of researchers encompassing more than 350 registered users from 37 research groups representing 8 Departments on campus. The laboratory has undergone major improvements in instrumentation and capabilities thanks in part to NIH-COBRE and NSF awards. To better serve the UD research community we will host an Open House at 2 PM on January 22, 2016. At the Open House, we will introduce our new capabilities and services available to researchers in campus.
The Open House will start in 219 BRL with a short presentation by Drs. Steve Bai and Guangjin Hou about our NMR instrumentation/capabilities, research applications, user training programs, as well as how to access the NMR services on campus. A guided NMR laboratory tour will follow the presentation, and a Q&A session will conclude the event.
Please come and join us in learning about the NMR capabilities and the possible opportunities for collaboration in research.
