Sponsor Info
Sponsoring the Adventure Relay Challenge means supporting the Delaware Charity Challenge and all those involved in the event. This includes the athletes, charities, volunteers, and spectators. Below, we’ve provided the opportunities for businesses to get involved with the Adventure Challenge Relay. Join the fun and contribute to a great cause!
Event Description
What is the ACR? As part of the Delaware Charity Challenge, the ACR consists a 5k course with a number of physical and mental obstacles. The ACR challenges a pair’s physical and mental abilities in a string of challenges as they run through the park. This year we’re revamping the course to make it more fun and challenging for the participants. Pairs can compete independently (just two) in three different divisions: all-female, all-male, or co-ed. There’s also a fun team event! Athletes can form teams up to 10 athletes (5 pairs) to compete in either our University or Open categories. After the event there will be a fun social atmosphere and awards!
Demographics and Target Audience
Only in its second year, the ACR is both a family-oriented and open athletic event. Participants range from age 10 to 55, most likely to range from young students to college students and middle-class families. There is expected to be an equal distribution among male and female participants. Between the ACR event and the accompanying 5k, we expect five hundred participants and spectators. However, when you factor in the reach of the participating charities, the reach is expected to be over 1,500 for this event – and it will continue to grow!
