Women in Economics Symposium – Leading the Way in Challenging Times

Discover Economics, a British campaign from the Royal Economic Society, has hosted a Women in Economics event in partnership with The Women in Economics Initiative and as part of International Women’s Day.

The event is chaired by Anna Isaac, Economics Editor, The Independent, and the guests are inspirational female economists from University of Bristol, NHS England, London and Partners and Ofgem sharing their career journeys and explaining the importance of their expertise in economics in the very different activities they are involved in. Although they are all working in Britain, the event is very informative and their experiences are of great interest and relevant to anyone considering working in economics anywhere.
