This workshop will hosted at the Ernest Fruit Farm by Jeremy and Emmalea Ernest. UD Fruit/Vegetable Specialist Dr. Gordon Johnson and Sussex County Agent Tracy Wootten will be on hand to lead the workshop. Learn about tree fruits and small fruits (berries, grapes) and how they grow. Other topics covered will include opportunities for producing fruits on small farms, fruit establishment, fruit management, fruit pests (diseases, insects), fruit harvesting and handling, and local marketing of fruits.
