I have made available a new table on soybean seed treatments which is attached at the back of this issue and is available online at https://s3.amazonaws.com/udextension/fieldcropdisease/files/2015/05/2015-Soybean-Seed-Treatment-Fungicide-Efficacy-Table_final.pdf. This table is similar to the foliar wheat, corn, and soybean tables, where we get together and discuss our local and regional trials and develop ratings for the major fungicides in a given crop. In this case we decided to list the spectrum of activity for the active ingredients and relative efficacy for these actives. The second half of the table lists major products and the active ingredients they contain. You will notice that soybean cyst nematode is not listed as a pest/pathogen. We should be able to develop a table for this in the ensuing years with new products under development and currently available. We do have some soybean cyst nematode seed treatment trials in the ground at the Carvel Research and Education Center this season, so we should be able to generate some good local data for you in the future.
