Farm business taxes can vary depending on the selected business structure. Each business structure has pros and cons that are sometimes difficult and tedious to navigate. University of Delaware Cooperative Extension has developed a quick reference guide that discusses the pros and cons of each commonly used business structures by agricultural producers. This guide is best utilized as a starting point for later discussions with accountants and lawyers.
