All strawberry growers and others interested are invited to attend and open house to view two projects where a retired poultry house has been converted to indoor growing of strawberries under lights
You will see
1) A research area where six day-neutral varieties are being tested on their potential to produce strawberry fruits under lights in gutters with hydroponic nutrient solution.
2) An area where strawberries are being grown to produce runner tips to use in propagation.
