Apples

We have placed brown marmorated stink bug traps in several apple blocks recently. Last week, 2 of the 4 blocks captured 5 or more stink bugs, potentially justifying a stink bug spray. I suspect that by the time this is posted, the remaining blocks will have reached a cumulative 5-10 stink bug nominal action threshold. Brown marmorated stink bugs are mating and laying eggs in other crops. Brigade and neonicotinoid insecticides are probably going to provide the best efficacy if targeting brown marmorated stink bug.
