Online and In-Person Training Options
Online via Zoom: Limited space is available and course materials will be provided from the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension.
In-Person: Held at the Delaware Department of Agriculture, 2320 S. DuPont Hwy, Dover, DE 19901.
The Produce Safety Alliance Grower training course is a one-time, all-day course tailored to the Produce Safety Rule. This course is not to be mistaken with the half-day Good Agricultural Practices / Good Handling Practices Course. You will receive a nationally recognized certificate upon successful completion.
Training Requirements: This course requires a full day dedication. Online Participants MUST have access to a computer with both audio and visual capabilities. In-Person participants MUST abide by the CDC’s and the State of Delaware’s COVID-19 guidelines by wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance at all times.
Cost: The Delaware Department of Agriculture and the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension will cover the cost of course materials.
Registration: Register by February 15, 2021 by 4:30 p.m. Out-of-state participants must be registered by February 11, 2021 to ensure course materials arrive in time for the class.
