This training meets Delaware Department of Agriculture food safety training requirements for Delaware farmers wanting to sell non-potentially hazardous foods produced in an on-farm kitchen. These items can be sold on their farm, at a roadside stand or a farmer’s market.
Examples of these foods are:
• Baked goods
• Jams, jellies and preserves
• Fruit pies
• Honey and herb mixtures
• Roasted nuts
• Snack items – popcorn, caramel corn, peanut brittle
You must attend both the February 26th and February 28th session.
Cost: $50.00 (cash or check payable to the University of Delaware)
