Research Topic

My research project supports our group’s challenge in understanding the stability of acylated peptide solutions and how colloidal physics orchestrates their self-association as well as aggregation in various environments. The industrial collaboration project is sponsored by Eli Lilly. The project utilizes light scattering, small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), neutron scattering, rheology and microrheology to characterize the microstructure of the aggregates as well as the aggregation kinetics. Furthermore, MD simulation will be done to guide the formulation process in the drug development process.
