ABOUT
More often just called “VAST,” the Volunteer Admissions Support Team is an association of enthusiastic UD Alumni and Parents, who assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in recruiting and enrolling new students. VAST was established in 1986 as part of the Office of Admissions with the full support of Alumni Relations.
OPPORTUNITIES
Explore the ENGAGE page to learn more about current opportunities: represent UD at college fairs, attend receptions, interview prospective students, congratulate admitted students, and adopt a local high school. Alumni and Parents find VAST a great way to stay connected with UD while helping future Blue Hens in their college search process. Members volunteer for at least one of these opportunities each calendar year.
TRAINING
Our RESOURCE page helps VAST members stay up-to-date. Starting in Spring 2014, off-campus update meetings will be held to keep new and seasoned VAST members connected. Members also enjoy personal tours when they return to campus to see for themselves new developments.
