Study Information

This study aims to test whether consumer attention to labels leads to purchasing sustainably produced goods, and how the attention varies amongst different types of products.

In this study, you will take two choice surveys in front of an eye tracker where you will make purchasing decisions (no actual purchases will be made).

Before the study begins, you will be given a brief introduction to help inform your choices and calibrate the system.

What is Eye Tracker?

The eye tracker is a device connected to the monitor in front of the participants. It does not record visual footage but instead collects data on which parts of the screen participants focus on during the session. Throughout the survey, participants will remain in the same seated position and verbally state their choices, which the researcher will record.

If you are interested in participating, please fill in your name in one available slot on the signup sheet linked below.

For any questions regarding the study, please contact the primary researcher, Emily Ortiz, at evortiz@udel.edu.
