The Farmlink Project was founded in 2020 by a group of college students and has resulted in the delivery of over 250 million meals across the United states. We created the FIELD fellowship to empower more students to build their own food system solutions so we can feed the population in a rapidly changing climate.
Each year, Farmlink selects up to 12 students to participate in a nine-month program which consists of:
- Learning from Leaders – Curriculum highlighting food system stakeholders and shapers and leaders in ethical entrepreneurship.
- Food System Immersion – Paid summer working with a farm, community org, ag/climate startup etc. of the fellow’s choice
- Project Development – Fellows are matched with mentors to design, test, and build their own solutions. They present their projects at our annual summit in San Francisco, CA.
We are looking for driven students from diverse academic backgrounds, lived experiences, and perspectives who are ready to make a tangible impact.
The application deadline is January 5th at 5pm PST.
