The Turfgrass Producers of MD are offering a scholarship opportunity. This scholarship memorializes Jim Claxton, a former Newsom Seed sales representative, and the contributions he made to the natural turfgrass industry.
The main eligibility requirement is that the student should reside or attend school in the Mid-Atlantic area, with preference to those in Maryland or one of its adjoining states. Preference also may be given to students who intend to pursue a turfgrass career.
