There haven’t been many brands that have pissed me off enough to not do business with them anymore.  Harkening back to our “Managing Audience” class, I would define myself as a “Meek Customer”.  I’m not a big complainer, but if I do submit a complaint, I would just like to know that I was heard and considered.

With that being said, I had my car serviced about a year ago by a Honda dealership.  I was going in for a simple oil change because the dealership was right up the road from where I was working at the time.  I asked *specifically* for just an oil change.  I returned to pick up my car, and was asked to be $200 for a simple oil change.  I came to find out they did the complete opposite of what I asked for and did the entirety of a “specialty package”.  I had no choice but to pay it.  I decided I would write the dealership and Honda a letter of my dissatisfaction with their level of service.  I received no reply or any explanation of what went wrong in their service department.

They could have acknowledged my complaint and apologized.  They also could have given me something in return for the $200 charge.  For reference, the previous day I refilled my wiper fluid, and came to find on my bill that they charged me for replacing the wiper fluid.  When I asked for an explanation I was met with none. I was extremely dissatisfied and have not thought much of the brand since then.
