Affiliated faculty member, Dr Matt Loiacono, publishes in the New England Journal of Medicine findings from the largest clinical trial of influenza vaccines to date.

Dr Dan Harris was awarded a two-year grant from the Delaware INBRE program to study patterns and trends in oral cannabinoid use among US nursing home residents. Dr Yendelela Cuffee (University of Delaware), Dr Sarah Berry (Harvard University), Dr Colleen Maxwell (University of Waterloo), and Dr Kaley Hayes are collaborators.

The Department of Epidemiology at UD hosts weekly seminars to discuss advanced topics in epidemiologic research methods. This week we have Dr Shanshan Ding to discuss, “Machine learning and causal inference in high dimensional survival analysis.”

Drs Kaley Hayes and Dan Harris were awarded an four-year R01 (RF1AG087210A) from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to study hypertension medication treatment strategies in older adults living in nursing homes.
