For more than twenty-five years, the Leaders and Fellows of the Institute for Transforming University Education (ITUE) have encouraged the adoption of student-centered and active classroom pedagogies—and in particular—the use of problem-based learning in the classroom. On- and off-campus workshops are held for college-level and K-12 teachers to enhance their understanding of PBL. The Problem-Based Clearinghouse is a library of resources developed by contributing educators that can be adopted and modified as you explore this teaching method.
