Fall 2025 Move-Out will take place Friday, December 12, through Monday, December 15.
For safety and traffic flow purposes, gates near the residence halls will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will close promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Expect traffic delays and detours on Monday, December 15th. DelDOT will be paving sections of Delaware Avenue (between Orchard Road & South College Avenue and between Haines Street & South Chapel Street). Please follow detour signs when approaching dorms in this area.
Parking attendants will be on-site to assist with traffic flow. Please follow their instructions.
All vehicles must exit the gated areas no later than 6:00 p.m. to avoid being locked inside.
Pick-up only — no parking or waiting at dorm entrances
Students must be fully packed and ready for immediate loading prior to vehicle arrival.
Important guidelines:
- Vehicles may not be left unattended at any time.
- Gate access is for active loading only — waiting or standing is not permitted.
- Parents or helpers who need time to assist with packing must first park in a designated parking lot, where payment is required using the Passport Mobile Payment system, and only pull up to the residence hall when ready to load the vehicle immediately.
- ADA parking spaces may be used only by vehicles displaying a valid ADA placard or license plate. No exceptions.
- Parking in fire lanes is strictly prohibited.
- Unattended vehicles parked in fire lanes are subject to citation and towing.
