RESEARCH LABORATORY STAFF

The Delaware Limb Loss Studies laboratory is dedicated to the training of graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and healthcare clinicians, such as physical therapists and prosthetists, who are interested in improving quality-of-life for individuals with lower-limb loss and limb difference. The laboratory collaborates with expert clinicians from regional prosthetic practices (e.g., Independence Prosthetics-Orthotics, Inc.), as well as Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, Delaware. The laboratory offers research training experiences for undergraduates from various University of Delaware undergraduate programs, including, but not limited to, engineering, health sciences, health professions and related clinical sciences, kinesiology and exercise science, neuroscience, cognitive science, nursing, athletic training, health promotions, and statistics.
