Voice of the Customer Interviews with Medical Device Users
Voice of the Customer (VoC) is the practice of collecting user feedback to inform products and services. It is an important component of user-centered design for medical devices. To introduce biomedical engineering students to VoC in a scalable way, we recorded interviews with patients, clinicians, and researchers who use medical devices. Students may use these videos to identify unmet clinical needs and design inputs, develop empathy for medical device users, and support engagement in their course content.
