Thank you all for amazingly coming together to make UDash an awesome success! This is just the beginning of an awesome new annual tradition at UD in highlighting its efforts to welcome new students in a novel way while promoting the critical role each office/resource on campus plays in the students’ life here at UD.

A special thank you to the UDash Challenge 17 Sponsors: Office of International Students and Scholars(Ravi Ammigan), Office of Grad and Professional Education(Dr. Mary Martin), the Institute for Global Studies(Lisa Huber) and the Division of Student Life(Dawn Thompson) in believing in and helping this project come to life. A special note of thanks to Glenn Carter, VP of OCM and Nikki Laws, who was working on behalf of OCM/OISS/IGS in helping with our marketing and promotion.

The entire project wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of the Lerner International Student Association(L.I.S.A) Faculty Advisor Jinwei Cao, L.I.S.A student leaders, OISS student leaders and our enthusiastic Volunteers. The Volunteers were spread across 21 critical “pit stops” on campus educating new fall admits who participated in the race about the offices and places they were stationed at. Various offices participated by providing us information, marketing materials like brochures and questions we could ask the participants on their behalf, thus educating the students about what the offices did for students like them.  This is a revolutionary new and engaging way to market the amazing resources and offices we have on campus.
