There will be an outage of the campus I.P (Data) Network, due to PP&D project scheduled power outage for all of Taylor Hall. The power outage will cause a complete network outage for multiple buildings on Tuesday, June 11th, between the hours of 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The following buildings on campus will be affected:
Taylor Hall
Recitation Hall
Old College Hall
There will be no IP data network connectivity for normal Emergency Telephone/Voice Services, Fire Alarms, Security Alarms, Video Surveillance Cameras, and all Facilities owned system including BAS Metering, Smart Lighting, etc.
DURING THE SCHEDULED NETWORK OUTAGE, THE BUILDING FIRE ALARM AND INTRUSION ALARM MONITORING WILL NOT BE OPERATIONAL. PLEASE REPORT ALL FIRE ALARM AND INTRUSION ALARM ACTIVATIONS TO UDPD AT 302-831-2222 BY WAY OF A CELL PHONE IF POSSIBLE.
