This week the Neuromuscular Biomechanics lab will be taking part in the virtual American Society of Biomechanics 2021 conference. Check out the work from each of our presenters below:

  • Kayla Pariser will be delivering an oral presentation titled “Manipulating Adaptive Treadmill Control to Increase Propulsive Impulse” in session Locomotion 1 (Wed 2pm-3:30pm EDT). Kayla will also present in the Three-Minute Thesis competition on Thursday at 1pm-2pm EDT.
  • Kaitlyn Downer will be delivering an oral presentation titled “Effect of Center of Mass on Adaptive Treadmill Control” in session Stability/Balance (Th 11am-12:30pm EDT).
  • Kaleb Burch will be presenting a poster titled “Design Optimization of a Shoulder-Assistive Device for Activities of Daily Living” in Room W17 during Poster Session 1 (Wed 4:30pm-6:30pm EDT).
  • Luke Nigro will be presenting a poster titled “Bi-linear Natural Ankle Quasi-Stiffness During Walking: Characterization & Implications for Orthosis Design” in the W3 Ankle-Foot Stiffness thematic poster room during Poster Session 1 (Wed 4:30pm-6:30pm EDT).
  • Margo Donlin will be presenting a poster titled “Calculating Trailing Limb Angle: Validating Alternate Methods” in Room T33 during Poster Session 2. (Th 4:30pm-6:30pm EDT)
  • Kelsey Neal will be delivering an oral presentation titled “Change In Knee Cartilage Stresses From 6 To 24 Months After ACLR: A Preliminary Analysis” in the Modeling & Simulation Session (Wed 2pm-3:30pm EDT).
