ORGAN OVERVIEW
General Assembly
The General Assembly is the cornerstone of the United Nations. These committees offer representation to all member states of the United Nations and debate some of the most hotly contested issues of our time. The General Assembly committees will be the largest committees that HenMUN offers. General Assembly committees also tend to be the most appropriate committees for Novice delegates, however, they welcome delegates of all ages and levels of experience.

This organ at HenMUN contains a diverse set of committees ranging from criminal justice to science and technology. These committees are typically smaller than General Assemblies but discuss similar types of contemporary issues. The Regional Bodies are also smaller than the General Assemblies but provide delegates with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge concerning one specific region of the world. These committees may even have a crisis element thrown in.
