Gun Violence through a Public Health Lens Forum brought together public health leaders, community advocates, and stakeholders to discuss critical solutions for addressing gun violence in Delaware. Hosted in partnership with Coalition for a Safer Delaware, Healthy Communities Delaware, ChristianaCare, Nemours, and other key organizations, this event underscored the urgency of collective action to build safer communities.

We’re proud that our own Alexandra Wynn, PhD, postdoctoral researcher with the UD Partnership for Healthy Communities, represented her vital work as the lead of the Delaware State Health Improvement Plan on one of the event panels. Her insights highlighted how evidence-based strategies can drive sustainable, community-focused change.

As the forum reminded us, addressing gun violence as a public health issue requires ongoing collaboration and engagement. Let’s continue to work together to create a safer and healthier Delaware for all.

Stay involved and stay inspired!
