On April 18 and 19, the University of Delaware’s Partnership for Healthy Communities (PHC) participated in the Moving Delaware Forward: From Equity Awareness to Action Equity Action Summit.

The PHC collaborated with advocates, leaders, and changemakers over two transformative days to advance equity for all in Delaware.

As shared stewards, participants delved into the essential conditions for well-being and discovered local initiatives driving change. Through knowledge-sharing and the exploration of “multisolving” methods, participants-built momentum and inspired action, creating a safe space to align and support equity efforts across the state.

Additionally, the PHC’s HEALTH for All program and the State Health Improvement Plan team submitted and displayed posters for the community gallery walk, showcasing their commitment to promoting health equity in Delaware.

At the summit’s conclusion, students from the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology program had the privilege of meeting Admiral Rachel L. Levine, the 17th Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, gaining valuable insights and perspectives on advancing equity in health and well-being initiatives.
