This weekend, we ventured into some local culture and participated in the London Pride Festival. In light of the Orlando tragedy, we felt like this was such an important event to attend and show solidarity not only for those lives lost in Orlando, but also for the entire international LGBT+ community. We started a day early and headed to Soho to find some rainbow paint, glitter and of course to scope out a great spot for the parade. The parade was a vibrant display of equality for all groups and support for Orlando which was amazing. Overall, it was definitely a highlight from this weekend and a privilege to show support whilst meeting great new people!
