This first week in Budapest has been incredible. We have gotten to tour museums, explore both the Pest and Buda sides of the city, and try lots of delicious new foods! It is so beautiful here and the people are so kind. We have also gotten to explore Hungarian public transportation- it is wonderful! I have been able to learn so much about the history of Hungary and the values of the people. I have also been able to observe the differences in policies here compared to those at home. Coming here has been such an amazing experience. I have bonded with my classmates and have already made so many memories! I cannot wait to see what next week holds. (Submitted on January 19, 2024)
