During this week of study abroad, we explored more cities in Spain in addition to Madrid. Saint Louis University offered multiple trips that we were able to participate in, including tours of El Prado Museum, Monasterio de Piedra, and Toledo. Each place was so beautiful and they were so unique from each other! On Friday, we went to El Prado Museum, which is one of the largest in Spain and has so many classical paintings and sculptures. Next, we traveled to Monasterio de Piedra, which has breathtaking views of waterfalls, mountains, and caves. To finish the week, we toured Toledo, an ancient city in Spain that actually used to be the capital before Madrid. The architecture of the buildings in Toledo is beautiful and the city has so many restaurants and shops to check out. On these trips, we met other students at SLU and it was so nice to explore these places together!
