Trieste, Italy has been an amazing experience for me. This week, I shadowed orthopedic surgery, something I was not sure I had an interest in. After seeing multiple surgeries, I have completely changed my perspective on my future. Coming on this program has inspired me to want to explore more career possibilities because it has sparked my interest in other departments. The hospital staff has been so welcoming and taught me so much just within the first week. This program has already changed my life in more ways then I ever thought.
