I would never think that I would have this much fun with a group of strangers miles and miles away from home. Of course, I miss my loved ones and that feeling of familiarity, but it was all worth it for experiencing a new world such as this. I couldn’t have asked for a better professor or a better group of students to make this transition as easy as it was. Within a day, a new family was formed and that feeling of familiarity has returned, just with a new group of people. We look out for one another, we help one another in class, and we make sure everyone is getting the most out of this experience. They’ve pushed me out of what I thought was my comfort zone into a great wonderful place. And what a wonderful place I’ve been put into here in Luxembourg and, this week, Paris. What a different world it is compared to the USA, but this family we’ve formed went through it all together, struggled through it together, and had fun all along the way.
