Spain is a cultural gold mine from what I gather so far. It’s full of historical buildings, statues, and other preserved structures from hundreds of years ago. They’ve preserved not only what they have constructed, but also some of what was already in place when the country was expanding. Seville is one of those examples. They built their cathedral next to an Arabic fortress that was later converted to the home for the Royal Family of Spain. It’s also been a great filming spot for productions such as Star Wars (from the original trilogy) and Game of Thrones.
