At the end of my final week in Paris, I can honestly say I would love to stay here for the rest of the semester. This week was Haute Couture Fashion Week, and I worked so many shows dressing the models. It was the absolute best experience of my life. We worked with other fashion majors from UD that are staying here for the entire spring semester. To say I am jealous of them would be an understatement. I honestly believe that everyone here, whether here for the semester or just for winter session, has the same favorite moment from this program. We worked the Alexandre Vauthier show, which had some of the most famous models of the moment, including Bella Hadid. That show was by far my favorite. After that, it became normal to be in the presence of people like Bella, with thousands of Instagram followers and fans. I didn’t expect it, but it became normal to walk into a fashion show and know exactly what was going on and what I had to do. I fully believe that when I come back to the U.S. I will have some sort of reverse culture shock. Living in Paris and working these fashion shows was the best experience of my life and I am sad to leave. However, I am ready to go home and go back to UD.
