I am super sad to leave Panama. This has been one of the best times of my life. I have made unforgettable memories and some incredible new friends. I will truly miss volunteering at the orphanage, Aldeas Infantiles SOS. Those kids were so sweet and amazing. They honestly changed my life. It was truly humbling to see that even though they have gone through so much, they remain so compassionate. I don’t want to leave Panama. I know that when I return to the USA, I am going to feel different. I feel like I was meant to be in Panama. I blended in so easily. I just want to take this opportunity and thank UD for helping me study abroad and also a huge thank you to my Mom who sacrificed a lot to ensure that I was able to go and have the best time on this program.
