Spending time in Kruger National Park was an unforgettable experience. The weather was extremely rainy but that didn’t stop us from exploring and enjoying every moment. Staying in Skukuza and Pretoriuskop gave us the chance to experience different parts of the park. One of the biggest lessons I learned during the trip was patience. Wildlife doesn’t follow a schedule, and sometimes you have to wait quietly for the animals to appear. But that waiting made the moments we did get to see them even more special. From elephants and giraffes to lots of cool birds, every sighting felt exciting. Kruger taught me to slow down and appreciate the moment, to observe carefully, and to be present even when things don’t go exactly as planned. It reminded me that patience and attention can turn any experience into something even better than expected. (Submitted January 25, 2026)
