Now that it has been a few weeks, London is starting to feel a bit more like home! I have settled into a routine here, with my classes, internship, and making sure I always have time to sight see. From taking the tube each day to get to class or to my internship, to learning more about the area my apartment is located in, I feel like I finally have a better grip on what it means to live in London!
Through my internship, I have befriended lots of locals, which I have greatly cherished since arriving here. I am so grateful to be forming friendships with people here who are willing to share their stories with me, and teach me more about their culture. I feel like I have already learned so much about culture in London, and I have only been here three weeks!
I can’t wait to continue to form a community of my own while I’m here, and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to do so. (Submitted on February 13, 2024)
