The Tuscan Regions of Italy

Florence was the next and final destination we traveled to. Shortly after arriving, we took off for our free weekend. A few friends and I went to Barcelona, Spain to experience a new city and immerse ourselves in their culture. Once back in Florence, we spent several days in the Tuscan region, enjoying a classic meal, learning how to make different types of pasta and pizza, and discovering more behind the process of oil, truffle, and wine production. In addition, we spent a day in Siena, where we visited a museum that was once a hospital. On our last night, we visited Castello di Verrazzano, a castle and winery, which included a variety of farm fresh tastings. This trip was an amazing experience and I will miss the Italian lifestyle!
