This week, we went to the Baci chocolate factory! We have a Hershey’s chocolate factory at home, so I assumed it would be very similar, but I was wrong! During this tour, we got to see the factory’s history, AND we got to go behind the scenes and look into the factory while it was actively making chocolates. I got to see the machine package and make chocolate eggs. Then, we got to make our very own truffles. We had an Italian chocolate chef teach us how to make truffles. We made the truffle filling and then dipped each ball into another chocolate. We got chocolate-making certificates and goody bags to bring home our treats! I will be remaking these once I’m back in Delaware. Such a great experience! (Submitted on January 17, 2024)
