This week we traveled to Chiang Mai. The last two days we went to a Thai cooking school and an elephant sanctuary. The Thai cooking school showed us how to cook signature Thai dishes in 3 minutes. We made curry, a coconut soup, pad thai, stir fry, and sticky rice. Even though I’m a picky eater I still tried everything because I made it. At the elephant sanctuary we played, feed, and cleaned the elephants. We saw the mother and baby elephants in one area and then went to another area with the older elephants. So far, these last two days have been my favorite. (Submitted on January 14, 2024)
