Last week, my classmates and I went to the Polynesian Cultural Center on the North Shore of Oahu. We got to experience a ton of different cultures of the Polynesian Islands including Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, New Zealand, and more! It was really interesting to see how different these cultures are from my own and how they influenced the Polynesian Islands. I got to experience a luau dance and a beautiful show about the meaning of “Aloha.” I had an amazing day at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and can’t wait to go back!
