Italy: Adapting to New Situations

Submitted by Dawson Fox on the 2020 winter session study abroad program in Italy sponsored by the Department of Philosophy…

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Italy so far and reflecting back on it, I love all aspects. I have been able to get a deeper understanding of the culture and fully immerse myself. Being able to visit many beautiful attractions and roam the city with others on my program helped me learn how to adapt to new situations and fully enjoy them. Learning while visiting a different country has also benefited me and has helped me understand the country a lot better. Overlapping class content with the sites we see has made me more excited to learn and to travel around. It may only be the first week, but I am having such a great time already!
