I usually spend my summers waiting tables in the tourist filled town of Rehoboth Beach, DE, but this summer I have the opportunity of a lifetime. Instead of soaking in the sunshine and breathing in the salty air, I am on board Aerbus100, en route to the city that is supposed to change my life: London.
My first week in London has been nothing, but life changing. The University has arranged an amazing itinerary that is giving me real-world experience. In just one week, I have been able to meet and listen to notable designers and creatives in the industry today. These people have filled me with inspiration and hope for a successful future after graduation. We have also visited incredible places like the British Library, the British Museum, the Tate Modern, Portobello Road Market, and so much more.
Although, I could use a little bit more sunshine and a little less rain, London is a beautiful city that I am growing to love. I cannot wait to see where else this journey will take me.
