Relativity can be astounding and humbling. Standing on the Cliffs of Moher, I could see the evidence of eons of ocean currents and tectonic movements etched into the layers of rock laying precipitously beneath my feet. My visit was not even a millisecond in the cliffs’ lifetime, yet both of us had immense potential impact on each other. I’ll never forget the feeling of the wind whipping around my head, like a violent ballad sung to me by the sea. The beaches back home, soft sand and gentle waves, could have never prepared me for the grey walls and the fierce currents of Moher. I came to Ireland seeking nature at its most turbulent, unfettered by human influence, and I found it. I cannot wait to see more of this gorgeous island.
