No More Fears In Washington, D.C.

Submitted by Jillian Cullen on the 2019 spring semester program in Washington, D.C. …

All the stress I had built up in anticipation of studying abroad has finally disappeared.  Going into the week, I was extremely nervous not only for my internship and classes, but also moving into a house with strangers.  Leaving my family and friends back home was daunting.

However, I can now confidently say that all those worries and fears have vanished after completing my first week in Washington, D.C.  I love my housemates, their enthusiasm, and most importantly their kindness.  Everyone has been so welcoming.  Studying abroad may seem scary, but it has the potential to introduce you to wonderful people you may not have normally met on campus.
