This week has been overwhelming and beyond exciting. There are so many things I want to see and explore! There are also so many things I want to talk about already. But today, I want to talk about how breathtaking Hawaii is in regards to the natural beauty of the wildlife and plants around me. I worked at a garden center for four years as well as working at a floral shop so I have an admiration for plants and flowers and the plants here have no comparison for what we have at home. While at home, we have a period where we sell tropical plants, most of them are much smaller and must be brought inside during the cooler temperatures. But looking around here, I see all these beautiful tropical plants growing bigger and brighter. The hibiscus are the size of dinner plates and even look healthier. Walking outside a week later, still amazes me with how beautiful the scenery is!
